OUR TARGET GROUP AND MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Since it inception, the MJS-Ranchi is actively engaged on various social development initiatives particularly for the downtrodden who lives in the remote areas of Jharkhand particularly ranch and other adjoining hilly areas and those having no basic common facilities of exclusive human life. Our target group also consist of people belonging to SC, ST, OBC landless laborers, tribal group more specifically to the women and children in the lower strata. Presently our activities are carried on mostly in the Jharkhand state and in a small part in UP also planning to expend in West Bengal.

The major activities under taken so far by ‘MJS- Ranchi’ includes as follows:

Women SHG formation, development and Credit-Linkage Scheme under NABARD; Watershed project under JSWM; REDP project on mobile repairing under NABARD: formation of producers’ organization and farmer producers’ organization under NABARD; Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jayanti Gram Vikash Yojna under govt. of Jharkhand; training on Kusumi brood Lac village with value addition of stick Lac under NABARD; Nukkad Natak Programme of financial inclusion under SBI Foundation ; Karkarinadi Watershed project under NABARD ; AIDS Control and awareness programme under jharkhand AIDS control Society; MJS-SEVA Primary school project under a Swish fund.
